Yet classy and stunning Sawai Madhopur now owns a new look of the railway station with a unique makeover. Located in Rajasthan, Sawai Madhopur Railway station is one of the smallest in India which is now grabbing major attention of tourists and visitors. With the consent of Railway Ministry in Sawai Madhopur, a team of skilled artists from Ranthambore School of Art have painted the walls of the station by beautiful drawings of flora and fauna those houses in Ranthambore National Park. 

Within three months, the entire railway station got transformed into a beautiful display of wildlife in Ranthambore National Park. The team of artists from Ranthambore School of art was directed by two master painters who accomplished the task of painting the walls from one end to another. The paintings are comprised of tigers, darters, bears, leopards, tree-pies and of course the age-old Banyan tree whose roots are beautifully scattered on the walls and over the roof. Myriads of living and non-living creatures on the walls including the birds like a woodpecker, peacock, kingfisher, and bulbuls were painted by the great artisans as if they are thriving on the branches of the trees looking like visual art.

According to the founder of Ranthambore School of Art, the station has become a living art museum of wildlife. People are getting curious and excited to take pictures of the railway station. It is generating awareness and now will have other ripple effects. Indeed this concept is now being followed in six other cities of Rajasthan Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, and Bikaner as announced by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Bharatpur is going to be the next in this line which is much famed for its Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary.
