Best Time to Visit:

The Ranthambore National Park is open to tourists from 1st of October to 30th of June. But the best time to rapture the best of Jungle Safari in Ranthambore is from November to March; mainly because the otherwise deserted state’s heat is quite unbearable during other months of the year.

Also the span extending between November and March is quite the favorable for wildlife viewing with the Jungle Safari in Ranthambore. Also the bird watching is quite a relishing experience wherein you can enjoy the sights of the flock of migratory birds visiting the park.

During the summer months, i.e. from April to June, Tigers can easily be spotted. The temperature soars over 40 degrees and hence you can easily sight these exalted cats around the water bodies of the park with Ranthambore Safari Tours. The moderate temperature of March also offers the pleasant sightings of the wildlife.


What to carry?

During the winter Season: The advent of November marks the beginning of winters in the state that extended till February. Visitors embarking upon Safari in Ranthambore during the time are advised to carry enough warm clothing, jackets, gloves, mufflers, etc. The temperature often gets low and you can experience the wind chill factors. The mornings and the evenings often get too cold during the Safaris and a warm pullover or a jacket is a warm relief.

During the summer season: The advent of April is marked as the beginning of summer, extended till June in the deserted state. If you are opting for the Best Tiger Safari in Ranthambore during the period, comfortable, light and loose cotton clothing is recommended.  A hat with the sunscreen is the must-carry in summers as the Sun can be really strong during the days. Mosquito repellants are required too.

Binoculars can add a lot of value to your enthralling safari in Ranthambore National Park. Also, the photographers are advised to carry the necessary equipment that they require including some batteries, film rolls and more.
The park is closed during the monsoons that is from 1st July to 30th September.

Access:
You can either fly to Jaipur and take a drive to Ranthambore National park or you can reach Ranthambore National Park by train. You can reach Sawai Madhopur Station and drive to Ranthambore.

Timings:
The timings of the park may vary from season to season and so are the Ranthambore fort timings that vary from season to season.  It is advisable to check all the timings at the office before you enter.
