  • You are advisable to keep outside influences as far as possible. The transistors, the tape recorders or blowing the car horn are regarded taboo in the Ranthambore National Park as you can spot the wildlife at best in quiet surroundings.
  • The colors of the clothes are recommended to be the similar shades of forests like green, khaki, brown and more. The loud colors may frighten the wild creatures as they are not used to them.
  • You are advisable to not feed any animals. Their food habits are in adherence to the natural food available in abundance in the park.
  • Do not litter the surroundings with trash like polythene bags, tetra packs and other such items. Not only they pollute the surroundings of the Park, but are equally harmful to the wilds.
  • Maintain the adequate distance from the animals. Your close approach may frighten them. Also, the visitors are advised to not to stand up when close to tigers as these elusive creatures might see it as a threat and may be provoked to strike back.
  • The visitors are advised to not wear perfumes or any strong smelling substances. The animals are quite sensitive to smell and it may lead in the arousing curiosity.
  • Animals generally hide, witnessing human appearances. The visitors are advised not to lure them by throwing out stones or other objects. Leave them in peace.
  • Smoking and flash photography are strictly prohibited in the National Park.
  • The drivers and the guides have to follow the certain set of regulations and norms set by the forest department of the region and hence the visitors are expected to cooperate and follow the same.
  • Also, you should not alter your route or drive across the country and critical zones of the park. Entry without proper tickets and entrance before sunrise and after sunset are strictly prohibited.

  • Poaching of animals in the National Park is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offense.
